Matwork classes are suitable for any age group and any level of fitness, ranging from total beginner all the way through to the experienced exerciser. The original 34 Pilates moves are very athletic and gymnastic but they have been adapted and simplified for mainstream class environment. Equipment may be brought into these classes such as an Isotoner which adds a different dimension to the move.
